[35886] While proof is not available, the compiler feels that George Jackson probably came from Northern Ireland. Many other Jacksons who came to the area at the same time were from Northern Ireland and the Old Swede's Church that he joined became a Scots-Irish church. His grandson, George Jackson, is described as being a Scots-Irishman in a Huntingdon County history book.
