RAYMOND CHAMBERLAIN
Funeral service for Raymond Benjamin Chamberlain, 55, of 59 Brownsboro Road
Eagle Point, who died monday will be held at 3 pm Wednesday in the First
Baptist Church, Medford. Committal will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial
Park. The Rev David W Croy of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Conger
Morris Funeral Directors are in charge of the arrangements.
!Mr. Chamberlain was born July 20, 1920 in Sand Point, Idaho. He married
Harriet Hagen June 9, 1946, in Portland. She survives. Mr Chamberlain was a
son of the late Edward R. Chamberlain and Clara Lambert Chamberlain, who
survives.
!Mr. Chamberlain was a WWII veteran, and had been in the Eagle Point area for
the past 44 years. He was a self-employed logger, and at the time of his death
had been working for the US Forest Service as an heavy equipment operator.
!Survivors, besides his wife, Harriet, and his mother, of Eagle Point, include
one son, Rick Chamberlain, Eagle Point; two daughter, Mrs. Petra Butto,
Richland, Wash.; Miss Anne Chamberlain, Eugene; three brothers, Jack
Chamberlain, Fortuna, Calif.; Dr. Gene F. Chamberlain, Medford; Mr. Dick L.
Chamberlain, Eagle Point; three sisters, Mrs. Kay Burns, Medford, Mrs. Marion
Sturgill, Grants Pass, Mrs. Georgia Smith, Seattle, WA; and three
granddaughters and several nieces and nephew. One brother, Clyde E.
Chamberlain, preceded him in death.
!Those who wish may make contributions to the Grace Christian School, % First
Baptist Church or Youth for Christ, 843 E Main St, Medford, OR.
!Honorary pallbearers will include Ted (Theodore) Hoffman, Bennie Hefley, Rudy
Weidman, Grant Buell, Cartee Wood, Bill Holmes.

Darrel Stanley, Bob Walch, Steve Wilson.
