! ALLEN T. "JUNIOR" BILDERBACK

!ATCHISON -- Allen Theodore "Junior: Bilderback, 79, Atchison, died Tuesday,
Aug 19, at a Dayton, Ohio, Hospital. He was visiting relatives in Dayton.

!Mr. Bilderback operated his parents farm near Cummings until he moved to a
farm four miles north of Valley Falls. He operated the second farm until he
retired in 1970.

!He was born March 18, 1907, at Cummings, the son of Allen T. and Edith Jones
Bilderback. He attended Washington Grade School northeast of Nortonville and
was graduated from Nortonville High School. He later attended Kansas State
Agricultural College in Manhattan.

!Mr. Bilderback was a member of Coal Creek United Methodist Church north of
Valley Falls and attended the United Methodist Church at Cummings. He also was
a member of American Woodmen.

!He was married to Alma H. Reed June 2, 1940, at Stockton, She survives.

!Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donna Covert, Dayton Ohio; a son, Ted
Bilderback, Raleigh, NC; a sister, Mrs. Lucile E. Burcher, Topeka; a brother,
Warren P. Bilderback, Wichita; and four grandchildren.

!Services will be at 10 am, Saturday at the Coal Creek United Methodist Church,
north of Valley Falls. Burial will be in Cummings Cemetery, Relatives and
friends will meet from 7 until 8 pm Friday at O'Trimble Funeral Home in
Nortonville. Mr. Bilderback will lie in state an hour before service time at
the Church.

!Memorial contributions may be made to the Coal Creek United Methodist Church,
Cummings United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
