The 1810 census data almost fits, but not quite. There was 1 male 26-45, 1 male 10 to 16, and 2 males under 10. One explanation might be that they had adopted young helpers who were not descendents to help with the work. The children were too old to be part of a 10 year marriage. Another problem is that only 1 daughter appears in the census, but there should have been 2 daughters. This might be the wrong Alexander but much of the other informa tion fits.
I don't know how this Alexander McConnell and the people listed fit in. Alexander may have been in charge of taking care of people as other McConnells
in the family were getting ready to move to Belmont County, Ohio.
