!OBITUARY:
ALIDA C. LITTLE DIED FEB. 8TH
Alida C. Little, resident of the Geraldine area for 64 years, died Sunday
February 8, 1976, in a Great Falls hospital.
!Funeral services were this Wednesday afternoon in the Community Methodist
Church at Geraldine with Rev. Dwight Harshman officiating. Burial was in
Geraldine Cemetery. Pallbearers were Gary Sande, and Roger, Larry, Tom, Mark
and Martin Little.
!Alida Clark was born in Illinois December 27, 1891, and came in May of 1912 to
Square Butte Bench where she homesteaded.
!She was married January 19, 1913, to Marion W. Little, who had homesteaded
there in 1910. They ranched at Square Butte until his death in April 1946, and
Mrs. Little continued to operate the ranch until she retired to Geraldine,
where she made her home until her death.
!She is survived by a son, Marion W. Little Jr. of Geraldine; two daughters,
Mrs. Clarence (Hazel) Sande of Geraldine and Mres. Ivor (Ruth) Richards of
Denver; a sister, Mrs. James Brandenburg of Santa Paula, California, and 18
grandchrildren and nine great grandchildren. A sister, Merle E. Waters,
grandson and great grandson preceded her in death.
