In the 1790 census he resided near Jacob Coxs, Ruben and Michael Tedrow, Christian Swerts.
On August 30, 1793 Robert was awarded a warrant for 100 acres in Milford Twp, Bedford Co., PA. After the land was "returned" it was 42.75 acres. This land was patented to Joshua Frazier on Feb 20, 1796, I think meaning that he resold the land to him. Census records showed a Joshua Frazier was living in York Co., PA.

The 1790 census shows the following neighboring families enumerated on consecutive lines: David JONES (husband of Mary BROOKE, sister of Ann BROOKE, wife of Christopher KING), Christian SWARTS, Robert McCONNELL (owner of land between the COXes and the Westmoreland Co. line), Jacob COX, Reuben TEDROW (husband of Jane LEECH) and Michael TEDROW (Reuben's father).

(14d,e) 1796, 14 May: Two contiguous tracts of land, 309.75 acres total, situated on the waters of the North Fork of Turkeyfoot Creek (Laurel Hill Creek), Milford Twp., were surveyed to Jacob COX and Abraham BRANT based on warrants dated 17 Dec 1790 and 21 Jan 1794. (14) These tracts, located on the south side of Jones's Road, were bisected by a road leading to Robert McCONNELL's, part of whose property lay in Fayette Co. This property is now in Middlecreek Twp. on the border with Jefferson Twp. It is just south of Laurel Lake and 3 mi. southeast of the small borough of Seven Springs, where the boundaries of Somerset, Fayette and Westmoreland Counties intersect. The residence was a dozen or so miles north of Christopher KING's mill. The Reuben TEDROWs lived only a mile or two to the east.
