NEW CASTLE NEWS May 12, 1922 DEATH
Susannah McConnell DeGarmo
(reads the same as above except for the name and the following additions.)
...Widow of Seth DeGarmo, whom she married 10 years ago...
...Born October 27, 1833, daughter of Benjamin and Nancy McConnell of Butler Co. PA
Pall bearers: J. J. McKibben; E. C. McKibben; Frank, Guy & James DeGarmo and C. C. Meyers
NOTE: There are errors in the above obituaries. Susannah (not Sarah) McConnell was the daughter of Sampson and Nancy Antes/Austin McConnell and Benoni (not Benjamin, but they called him Ben) and Nancy mentioned here were her brother and sister, among other siblings. Sampson McConnell and family appear in Shenango Twp. Beaver Co. (now Lawrence Co.) PA in the 1830 census.
