In the 1850 Census, Union Twp, Monroe Co., OH Frederick Moore and his family were living next to his wife's brother Caleb Miller.
They were: Frederick Moore, 53, M, b. VA, Farmer; Isabel, 42, F , William T., b. OH, b. OH, Eleanor J, 17, OH, Ruth, 15, OH, Juliann 13, b. OH, Frances M, 11, b. OH, Robert J, 9, b. OH, Margaret Ann, 6, b. OH, Ferdinand, 3, b. OH, Thomas G, 1, b. OH.1
Frederick is probably related to William Moore, 52, b. PA in Oxford Twp, Guersey Co., OH. Immediately next to William's household is a household headed by a Ferdinand Miller, 14, b. OH, with two younger siblings who probably lost their parents.
There may have been a lot of disease, like Cholera or Typhoid present at that time. Frederick Moore and Isabel and some of the children appear to have died soon after 1850. The remaining children married and continued to live in Noble County, Ohio.
