Services for Mrs. Mariah Jane Milligan, 89, who died at 9:00 am Sunday in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, were held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at New Hope Church. Rev. Harmon Etter will officate; burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. The body is to be at the F. W. Stumpf & Son Funeral Home, Pana, until time for the funeral.
Deceased, a resident of Cold Spring Township, Shelby County, was the widow of William H. Miligan. She was born April 30, 1853, in Ohio, and leaves 2 sons, W. E. Milligan, Decatur, and Harry Milligan RR Tower Hill; 2 daughters, Mrs. James Potts, Herrick, and Mrs. Lizzie Bland, Pana; 12 grandchilden; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, George McConnell, Herrick, and Charles McConnell, Pana; 3 sisters, Mrs. Minnie Gatons, Herrick, Mrs. Lizzie Lowe, RR Tower Hill, and Mrs. Nancy Beatty, Pana.
