Guien McConnel died in the summer of 1807, leaving his wife Martha Kelsey McConnel (b. abt 1750 in Chester, PA), sons William, John, Alexander and James, daughters Margaret Howard, Jane Bush, Martha Sheep and Rebecca McConnel, and grandsons Josiah Armstrong and Guien McConnell Howard. Within ten years of his death, most of his family had moved west, either to Ontario, Yates or Steuben counties in New York, or on to Ohio and/or Michigan. The birth dates of his children are not known, but they are all estimated to have been under the age of 30 when their father died. Any information on any of these individuals would be greatly appreciated.
