Robert McConnell put in both the 1850 census and 1860, he was born in Ohio in 1790. It is quite possible Robert's parents were with Robert Patterson when he founded Cincinnati, Ohio in 1888. Robert could have been one of the first children born near Cincinnati, Ohio. The family was in Scioto County, Ohio from an early date because Robert McConnell's brother, David McConnell, was married there in 1815.
