John McConnell was appointed guardian of Jane and John Glasgow McConnell, minor children of William McConnell of West Elizabeth Twp, Allegheny Co., PA.
Per Orphans Court, Book 8, page 403.
Nancy (Glasgow) McConnell had survived her father, John Glasgow of Deer Twp, Allegheny Co., PA, and was due to inherit 1/8 of the real estate and property from his estate. She died intstate on July 11, 1846, so the court appointed John McConnell as a guardian to represent the children's interests in the estate of John Glasgow.
On August 31, 1850 the property of John Glasgow had been sold and money was paid to the guardian for the children who would later inherit the money.
